New York City's Flag Art Foundation celebrated the 60th anniversary of "The Swimmer," a John Cheever short story in The New Yorker, with swimming-related works. Tony Feher, a deceased sculptor, used 10 rolls of blue painter's tape on a floor-to-ceiling window to create a shimmering facsimile of a pool bottom.

New York City's Museum of Modern Art introduced me to the weird and wonderful world of a video and performance artist active in the 1960s who's finally getting her due at the age of 87..
I love seeing the time before the “community” embraced neo-marxism and believed it was virtuous to do so, and then took experimental gene therapy shots for a multibillion dollar propaganda animation. Ahh, the good old days.
